After the success of our first Sew-A-Long (featuring the Oliver and S Bucket Hat) we thought it would be fun to find something a bit different to try. The idea is that we find a fun and versatile pattern, that everyone can have a go at. From complete beginners to expert sewers, we’re passionate about sharing the love of creating and having unique handmade items for our families.

July’s Sew-A-Long is a fantastic quick and easy pattern for children’s PANTS! Something all children need, it goes right from 6 months, up to Age 12. It includes instructions for completing on a normal sewing machine or overlocker.

The pattern is called Speedy Pants and is from Made by Jacks Mum. A fantastic UK based pattern designer.

Little T’s Sewing Room

Another new addition this month has been the creation of Little T’s Sewing Room. Based on Facebook, we’ve set up a group where you can share all of your latest creations, troubleshoot any sewing issues and share ideas and inspiration with fellow sewists.  We’ll be sharing updates on the Sew-A-Long in the group, adding information about where you can find fabrics and patterns and lots of other useful bits and bobs.
